MUSE

She tightens herself with a wall,
She closes herself blocking emotions,
She fights her battle alone,
She smiles it out walks if off in grace,

In her I find inspiration,
In her I find solace,
In her I find beauty,
In her I find happiness,

The muse I never had,
The inspirations a poet longs for,
The beauty an artist seeks,
The mystery every expeditionist wishes for,

In you I see a blessing,
In you I see a warrior princess,
In you I see a tigress,
In you I find my muse,
My light for that ever burning candle.

Smile

In her smile I see sorrow,
In her smile I see fear,
In her smile I see tears,
In her smile she whispers her lies,

In her smile I see happiness,
In her smile I see humanity,
In her smile I see heart felt care,
In her smile she whispers her love,

It is the smile that she wears,
It is the smile she dresses up daily,
It is the smile she hold tight,
It is the smile is which she hides herself,
It is her smile in which I find solace.

Beauty

Beauty is the eye of the beholder,
Can beauty be seen by all?
If seen would you feel it?
If felt would it inspire you?
Yes it is truly rare to embrace it all,

Not all are blessed to see beauty,
Not all who’ve seen the blessing truly realize it,
Not all you crave shall get it,
Not all who have shall value it,

Some see that infinite beauty,
Some inspired by it daily,
Some feel it immensely,
Some breathe it addictively,

I write about a poet,
A curse that he see’s beauty,
A blessing that he is inspired,
An addiction that he breathes daily,
A dream he wish he lived daily.

Let you Dream

Reading is dreaming,
Dream with your eyes open,

Kisses bitten so hard,
Tongue fights so strong,
Neck stretches with each bite,
Ear wet when kissed more,
Nipples erect with each play suckle,
Tummy that pause you with every kiss,
Legs spread with each touch that lingers,

The want to rip you,
Hold you powerless in my arms,
The want to love you,
Make love fiercely hard,
The want to feed your hunger,
Where you never shall thirst again.

Cliches

Call me cynical,
Call me mad,
Are your trends changing,
Or just your cliches increasing,

Yoga I've always been zen,
Meditation I am balanced,
Vegetarian animal cruelty I say,
Rockstar It's my calling I claim,
Electronica beats have spoken to me,
Sorry I'm no dog person I own cats,
Sorry I've always been a 80's fan,
Classical music is what sets my mood,

The more I observe
The more I question
Is this your want
Your need
Or is it that bandwagon calling
I hear marching

Call me cynical,
Call me mad,
Are your trends changing,
Or just your cliches increasing.

Feeling Like a Teen

Feeling like a teen,
To smile away to emptiness,
Feeling like a teen,
To feel the blood rush in your heart,
Feeling like a teen,
To watch you walk,
Feeling like a teen,
To feel shy as eye contact meets,
Feeling like a teen,
To feel giddy in each conversation,

Feeling like a teen,
Where innocence is felt once more,
Where heart not mind takes precedence,
Feeling like a teen,
Like you can beat life odds,
Where courage is heart felt,
Feeling like a teen,
Where admiration is a never ending smile,
Where fairytales do come true,
How we wish and ponder,
Can we feel like that once more.

Fear

Fear is a beat,
A beat in-between two beats,
Fear a thrill before the best times,
Fear a hold back from yourself,
Fear an unexplained trauma,
Fear a past unforgotten,
Fear a paranoid instinct,
Fear a base primeval instinct,

Fear a first day in school we feel,
Fear a taxi drive by and honk we feel,
Fear a first kiss we feel,
Fear in a confined space we feel
Fear a paranoia of a loved one not answering we feel,

The question we might never answer,
A fear a hold back or a shield?
A curse or a blessing?
A human unexplained emotion,
Or a failure labeling method,
When we can't find an escape,

Fear we should embrace,
Fear we should overcome,
Fear a start from which all our good memories to come.
